By Pitchside View

CRYSTAL PALACE U19 ladies are in action at The Sports Park on Friday evening where they face Sussex Schools U19 ladies.

This is a rare chance to watch two elite woman’s teams in action, and it’s free to get in. The action starts at 7.45pm and the clubhouse will be open.

Without a first team game this weekend, Friday’s game is the first of three games you can watch in Peacehaven, and all are free to view.

Cup semi-final
On Saturday, Peacehaven & Telcombe 3s have a Mid Sussex Junior Charity Cup semi-Final. The game is against a higher division opponents in Eastbourne Rangers 2s.

To advance to the next round Peacehaven will need to be at their best and joint managers Russell Hughes and James Cosham will need goals from their top goal scorers Ash Richmond, Dan Smedley and Darren Wall.

The game will be played on the Big Park outside pitch at Piddinghoe Avenue and kicks-off at 1.30pm. There will be extra time and penalties should it be necessary.

Reserves at home
Peacehaven & Telscombe reserves are at home against AFC Ringmer in a Mid Sussex Premier league game. The bar will be open and it’s free entry. Kick-off is 2pm.

Manager Rob Thomsett’s side won their last game 2-0 thanks to goals from Jimmy Williams and Chandler Perrin to move up to ninth in the league. A win could move them up two more places depending on other results.
