The best way to keep up to date with Peacehaven & Telscombe FC

Goal fest at Chessington

11 months ago By Pitchside View

PEACEHAVEN & TELSCOMBE’S double header adventure to Chessington produced a goal glut on Saturday.

The first team went down 4-3 whilst the under 21s lost 5-3.

For the first team Sid Adams (pictured) chalked up two goals, the first a deflected shot and the second a free kick. Haven’s third came from a free kick from Conor Wilkins, his second in two games.

Peacehaven looked like they would get a draw only for a cruel 94th minute to be awarded to the home side which they converted.

For the under 21s, Joe Radley Martin’s goal was the pick of the bunch when he hit a 25 yard rocket that nearly burst the net. Kane Swallow scored the other two for Haven.

On Tuesday evening it will be your first chance to see Peacehaven & Telscombe in home action when they take on Ringmer. Kick-off 7.45pm.
