When the two sides last met on February 26, Peacehaven won 2-0 and moved into the final of the RUR Cup.
Uckfield will no doubt be keen to avenge that reversal as they continue their stated aim to finish in the top six this season. The visitors are having their best season for years and are already in the final of The Peter Bentley Cup and had a brilliant run in the FA Vase.
This season, games between the two sides have been well contested affairs and this will be the fourth time the teams have met this season. Peacehaven have won twice and Uckfield once.
In their previous five league games, Uckfield have won three and lost two. Peacehaven meanwhile have won once, drawn twice and lost twice and based on league form alone Uckfield will start as favourites as they strive to maintain their sixth spot ahead of the chasing pack. But Peacehaven will be buoyed by their good away win on Saturday at Shoreham and Mark Shutt’s men will be up for the fight.
If you’re planning to come to the game, here’s what you need to know. Entry is £6 for adults, £4 for over 65s and under 18s get in for free. The club’s bumper full colour programme is just £1 and Golden Goal tickets are £1. The clubhouse, bar and snack bar will be open.
