This game is Peacehaven’s last scheduled evening home game of the season, so if your passion is for midweek football, you should get yourself down to The Sports Park this evening.
After an encouraging start to their season, Peacehaven were on the end of a 6-1 reversal on Saturday against league leaders Chichester City. And a league game arriving so quickly after such a disappointing result gives Mark Shutt’s men the opportunity to get back on the horse and put things right.
Meanwhile Little Common are one place above Peacehaven in 12th place in the league with seven points from six games and they too were soundly beaten at the weekend when they went down 3-0 away to second placed Saltdean Utd.
Both teams will have something to prove to their respective management and supporters with the game potentially looking nicely poised.
The game kicks-off at 7.45pm. Entry is £6 for adults, £4 concessions and under 18s get in for free. The club’s bumper programme is just £1 and the clubhouse and snack bar will be open.
Under 23s go down
Peacehaven & Telscombe Under 23 were soundly beaten 6-3 away to Eastbourne Town on Monday evening. Haven's goals came from Marcus Richmond (2) and Lucas Tyrell.
Sussex Senior Cup draw
PEACEHAVEN & TELSCOMBE have been drawn away in the first round of the Sussex Senior Cup. They will face East Preston. The game is currently scheduled for Tuesday October 2.
