Loxwood are currently the form side in the league having won all five of their previous league games. And during this run they have despatched high-flying Horsham YMCA and Saltdean as well as hitting seven goals past Littlehampton.
The last time Loxwood lost was against title favourites and league leaders Haywards Heath when Heath ran out victors 4-2 and in their previous game they lost at home to Chichester City by the same score.
In recent weeks Loxwood have tightened up their defence and although they have conceded 31 times this season, during the last four games their defence has been breached just the once.
In contrast Peacehaven have the second meanest defence in the league and have conceded just 15 times all season - a factor that has helped the club to fourth place in the league standings.
Last season in September Loxwood defeated Peacehaven 2-0 away and the teams fought out a thrilling 2-2 draw when they met at the Unibet Arena in January after Haven squandered a 2-0 lead against nine man Loxwood.
During November, Peacehaven played at home just the once and Saturday’s game will be the first of three home games for Haven in December.
After last Saturday’s defeat at Chichester City, their first in thirteen league matches, Mark Shutt’s men will be looking to put that result behind them. Although going down 1-0, Peacehaven put in a brilliant display and were unlucky not get something from the game.
Saturday’s game kicks-off at 3pm. Entry is just £6 for adults and £4 for over 65s. Under 18s get in for free.
