Powell (pictured), who has been part of manager’s Mark Shutt backroom staff for the past two seasons has decided to call it a day because he wants to spend more time with his family.
Mark Shutt said: “Brett has been a massive part of my team these past two years - although he was nearly always late!” “The players would go to him with their pre-match training aches and pains and he would give them a massage, maybe strap up an injury and/or give them a stretching routine to best help them. I knew I could always rely on him” “Brett has given up shed loads of hours for this club and he is going to be very sorely missed.”
Brett Powell said: “I will remain a Peacehaven supporter and will continue to come and watch games when time allows with Kelly and the girls.”
The club is now accepting applications for the role of First Team Prevention/Rehabilitation coach for the new season. No qualifications or experience required at this stage. Anyone wishing to apply should do so by e-mail to email@example.com
