Vase exit

9 months ago By Pitchside View

PEACEHAVEN & TELSCOMBE went out of the FA Vase on Saturday to CB Hounslow United.

Haven fell at the first hurdle in a game dominated by the weather and over flying planes!

Curt Ford (pictured) opened the scoring for Peacehaven with just three minutes played. But just before half time, CB Hounslow equalised and 1-1 was the score going into the break.

At the final whistle the hosts had increased their lead and finished winning the game 2-1.

Haven’s next game is on Saturday September 16 when they are at home to Arundel.

Peacehaven & Telscombe: Aga, Wiltshire, Cowd, Massen, Dinnage, Sidwell, Legrange, Allen, Ford, Richmond, Lloyd. Subs: Golds, Nelson, Levy, Berwick.

On Monday September 11, the under 21s are at home to Rottingdean where they will be hoping to extend their unbeaten run to four games. This game kicks-off at 7.45pm and entry is just £3 for adults and £2 for concessions. Under 18s are free as are season ticket holders. The bar and snack bar will both be open.
