To run one of the largest non-league football clubs in Sussex requires a small army of volunteers. And now we need to expand the army.
Did you know that currently the club runs 17 youth teams and four men’s teams? In addition the club also runs its own football academy.
Volunteers for both the youth and senior sections of the club come in all shapes and sizes and have a variety of skill sets together with the amount of time they can give.
Club chairman Jez Avens said: “All of us at the club are fully aware that most people have busy lives and the thought of adding voluntary work to busy schedules could be a daunting prospect for some. But if you can spare some time to support your local community football club off the field, you will be welcomed with open arms.”
Avens continued: “You could be someone who is retired and looking to develop your interest in football and want to use the spare time you now have to volunteer at the football club. If this is you, you too will recieve a warm welcome.”
However much time you can give to the football club will be gratefully appreciated.
